What is bingo? Bingo is one of the most popular games via the internet and, so, is enjoyed by millions of folks each day. The game of bingo evolved from the Lo Giuco de Lotto which was the Italian lottery game that was developed in 1530. The game evolved into two different versions, the British version and also the American version. The American or 75 number version predominated elsewhere on the globe. The kinds of patterns depend on the game version. Within the British version, a regular bingo is achieved with the completion of one line. Two and three line games are special games. For the American version, a regular bingo may be any line, horizontal, vertical or diagonal. The home rules may allow the four corners as a regular bingo. Special games are usually pattern games where a pattern can be a recognised letter, number or shape.
Today, online bingo playing sites provide a number of game variations, all of which come under the heading of bingo. You can find abbreviated versions of the game and variations like Speed Ball and Lucky Number Bingo. Variation in card/ticket costs are given in games like Penny Bingo and High Stakes Bingo.
